1. Beginning August 1, 2007, all Companions traveling will count, there are no exclusions. 2. At least 3 members of a visiting Council must be present to capture a trowel. 3. 3 points are awarded for capturing a trowel, plus 1 point for each visiting member. 4. Trowels may only be captured and points earned on stated assembly nights. Check ahead or refer to Grand Council directory. 5. All points must be recorded on the Official form provided. 6. No IOU’s may be issued by a Council that does not have a trowel to capture, nor any points for members traveling; check ahead. 7. Visiting Council with the greater number of members present has first choice of trowels, Ties are resolved in favor of the Council traveling the greater distance based on Temple location. 8. A Companion cannot be counted as a member until the day after he is greeted. 9. Councils must display all trowels in their possession. Visiting Councils may select any trowel, except that they must select their own trowel if it is available. 10. No Council may capture a trowel after its last stated assembly prior to June 1, 2008. 11. Divide the number of stated assemblies in your by-laws by 2, round down to a whole number if necessary. That number is the most times your Council may capture a trowel from any other single Council, or any other single Council may capture a trowel from you. Refer to the example below. 12. The winner in each size category will be determined by number of trowels captured; the number of Companions traveling will be used only as a tie breaker.
